resumeCall first when a run starts. If a checkpoint exists, you get the last step, its state and the items already done.
Save a checkpoint after every step. When the run dies, resume hands back the last state and the work already done, so your agent continues instead of paying for it all again.

How it works
resumeCall first when a run starts. If a checkpoint exists, you get the last step, its state and the items already done.
save_checkpointAfter each step, save the cursor, ids and partial results you need to continue. Keys named like passwords are stripped.
crash, then resumeProcess dies, laptop sleeps, sandbox times out: restart with the same run_id and skip straight to the next step.
Pricing
Free resets daily and is not a trial. Pro is $9 a month.
Watch-only mode. 500 calls a day: save_checkpoint returns would_save, the exact state that would be stored, and a weekly report. Nothing is saved.
Saving: the last 20 checkpoints per run, kept 30 days, and resume returns the latest one after a crash.
Worked example
An import agent works through 400 invoices and crashes at 312 about twice a week, re-doing roughly 30 minutes of model calls each time. In free mode the weekly report shows each crash point it would have saved. With Pro at $9/month, it resumes at invoice 313.
For agents
Each result includes understood, job and a one-line outcome your agent can report back in plain words.
save_checkpointCall after each completed step with the state you would need to continue (cursor, ids done, partial results; up to 256 KB JSON). Pro saves it (last 20 per run, kept 30 days).
resumeCall FIRST when a run starts. If a checkpoint exists for run_id (Pro), returns the last step, state and done list: continue from there and skip finished work.
list_checkpointsList recent checkpoints (step, size, time) for one run or all runs on your key.
weekly_reportDraft a plain-English report of the last 7 days: runs, checkpoints saved (Pro) or that would have been saved (free). Read-only; sends nothing.

FAQ
Long agent runs crash: a timeout, a closed laptop, an expired sandbox. Without a checkpoint the agent starts over and pays for every step again. Run Memory keeps the last good state so it continues instead.
Call resume with a stable run_id at the start. After each step call save_checkpoint with the step name and the JSON state it needs to continue. After a crash, restart with the same run_id.
Cursors, ids, page numbers, partial results: up to 256 KB of JSON. Never passwords or API keys; keys named like secrets are replaced with [removed] before anything is saved.
The free plan saves nothing. save_checkpoint returns would_save, the exact state Pro would store, and weekly_report counts the crash points it would have covered.
No. Bring your own model. Run Memory only stores and returns the JSON your agent sends; it never runs anything.
Free: watch-only previews, 500 calls a day. Pro is $9 a month: real checkpoints, resume, 50,000 calls a day. It is also included in the Cloud for Bots All Access bundle.
